20 years of pattern recognition

Your work of greatest value is always hidden in plain sight.

Last week, I told you I help people navigate thresholds.

A couple days ago, I explained the difference between change (which you manage) and evolution (which you protect).

Today: what this means for you, what's changing here, and why.

For years, I've been building systems.

For myself. For clients. Hundreds of individual systems across life domains like health, relationships, work, finances, and creativity.

The pattern I kept seeing: rotating experiments between these domains makes growth feel fun. Sustainable. Like play instead of pressure.

And the insight that kept emerging: it's actually fun to do less.

Here's what only becomes visible when you do this hundreds of times:

There are patterns underneath every professional and personal change. Principles that govern these crossings.

Most people can't see them because they're only navigating their own path. But when you've walked hundreds of people through this territory, the terrain reveals itself.

The best time for a map is before you go into the forest.

That's what I'm building: The Simplicity Protocol.

A map for navigating change by removing the nonessential. Each week identifies a part of the path. Understanding the principles and the simple practices to navigate it YOUR way with ease and excellence. What dangers you might encounter and how best to prepare.

This is threshold navigation in practice.

What's changing starting February 4:

This becomes a weekly newsletter about The Simplicity Protocol. Every Tuesday at 9am PT.

You'll get:

  • One insight from patterns I'm seeing across hundreds of professional transitions
  • A 20-minute action you can take this week
  • Permission to trust what you already know

Because the world outside us is chaotic. More noise, more pressure, more overwhelm every day.

We can't control what's happening out there. But we can protect what's happening in here.

That's the work. Continuous evolution through subtraction.

If this isn't your focus:

The unsubscribe button is below. No hard feelings. Genuinely.

But if you're standing between who you were and who you're becoming, I'll see you Tuesday, February 4.

First newsletter: "The question nobody asks at thresholds."

P.S. If you want to talk through your own threshold before the newsletter launches, hit reply. I read everything.

P.P.S. If you know someone who’s ready for change, please invite them to join us.

Stop Adding. Start Subtracting.

The world keeps accelerating. The Simplicity Protocol helps ambitious professionals do less to achieve more through weekly elimination strategies you can implement in 20 minutes or less.
