If ever there was a moment when you stared at your office chair and wished it would just push itself back in to nestle perfectly underneath your desk, then this news will be pretty exciting! Nissan has developed a self-parking office chair that is designed to 'park' itself when you're done with it.
The chair, called Intelligent Parking Chair, will target its location, can make 360-degree turns and then park itself back in its intended spot. It does so with the help of four motion cameras with wi-fi capabilities. When you clap, the chair will take in its surroundings and tuck itself in.
While the chairs were really designed to show-off Nissan's self-park car technology, I wouldn't be surprised if these chairs got a little floor time at high-tech offices.
