Emotional intelligence (EQ) is the ability to understand and control your own emotions, while also understanding and empathizing with those around you. Having a high EQ is becoming a much more valuable asset in the workplace, providing skills like flexibility, and personality traits that help to deal with daily stresses while making those around them feel comfortable.
