Stats on Wasting Time at Work [INFOGRAPHIC]

This week is dedicated to optimizing your workplace for productivity, so it's only appropriate that I share some stats on wasting time at work. Employees admit to wasting 3 hours in a typical 8-hour workday -- time that could be spent exercising, relaxing or doing other stuff. All three of these activities can ultimately boost productivity even though they don't actually involve doing work.
Here's some more food for thought: Some 18 hours a week are spent trolling on the Internet during the workday, and 64 percent of employees admit to using the Web for personal purposes on their employer's time. Check out this post for another infographic with statistics on slacking.
