This GOOD infographic examines a fair question: do we live to work, or work to live? The short answer is that it depends on several factors, including your age, income levels, and whether you are self-employed or a wage-and-salary worker.

Among the infographic's data: In terms of age, we work the most hours between ages 35 and 44, but we also spend the most time during that age range on caring for household members and doing household activities. Pure leisure time, predictably, peaks between 65 and 75+ with retirement. And we spend the most time sleeping, eating and drinking between the ages of 20 and 24.
