5 Questions With Kelley

1. What's one thing most people don't know about you?

In the past 3 years, I have traveled to 17 countries around the world to explore and learn about their culture.

2. What's your favorite icebreaker and why?

I like to ask the question, “If you had a million dollars that you could spend on anyone or anything except yourself, what would you do with it?” People get really creative answering this question and you learn a lot about a person.

3. What is your superhero skill?

My superhero skill is to find a way to make things happen as I always envisioned despite the obstacles. I have been told I wasn’t smart enough to get into certain universities; I didn’t have the right build to compete at a high level in certain sports; I was too young and inexperienced to work for certain leaders or companies. Over the years, I have learned how to win before I show up and implement my vision every time.

4. What's your favorite quote?

“Here’s to the crazy ones: the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… The ones who see things differently – They’re not fond of rules. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things. They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world are the ones who do.” - Steve Jobs

5. Why is rebellious productivity important to you?

Rebellious productivity is important to me because I think that every person should get to live his or her best life, whatever that entails. When I was little, my dad worked 24/7 to provide for us. While we learned a great work ethic, I finally asked him, “Daddy, why don’t you love me?” He was taken aback by my question and asked why I would say such a thing. I replied, “Because you never spend any time with me.” I don’t want anyone to have to go through that “ah-ha” moment if they don’t have to. I believe that by learning how to work smarter rather than harder, you can take control of your own life and create the life that you envision.
