Today's time-crunched schedules often leave little time for professional networking, but the LunchMeet app (iTunes link) aims to facilitate impromptu networking sessions with your LinkedIn connections. The free app connects with LinkedIn to display your profile; you can also set time slots for your availability and select a preferred restaurant or cafe.
Like Drew Olanoff, none of my LinkedIn contacts are using the LunchMeet app, but as adoption grows, it could be easier than ever to network during your workday.
