We all know how meditation can benefit us, but it's often hard to find the time to dedicate to practicing meditation. However, you can meditate anywhere at any time, as long as you have a few minutes to spare. This 5-minute meditation trick, found on Inc., is a great way to find some relaxation during a busy day -- in between tasks, after a meeting, or any other time you just need some time to yourself.

  1. Close your eyes, slow your breath and come to a comfortable rest meditation.
  2. Pay attention to the sensation of your body -- feel the pressure of your feet against the floor, your hands as they rest on your lap. Do this with your whole body, acknowledging where you feel tension and where you feel relaxed.
  3. Pay attention to outward factors. Listen to the sounds you can hear, like outside chatter, the sound of the air conditioning, or a lawn mower being used across the street. Just experience what you hear without responding to it.

Do this for a few minutes to help you feel relaxed and grounded.
